Coinbase Acquires Ethereum Wallet Startup Cipher Browser

Cryptocurrency trade Coinbase has acquired cellular ethereum wallet Cipher Browser, the firms announced on Friday.

Cipher Browser, which also provides a World-wide-web 3 decentralized app (Dapp) browser, reported it would even more merge several of its options with Toshi, the decentralized cellular browser introduced by Coinbase builders.

In addition, Cipher browser founder Peter Kim will come to be the new head of engineering at Toshi as the two apps integrate their options, according to the announcement.

Neither facet disclosed the conditions of the acquisition.
