Sport Maker Digital Arts Trolls Crypto Twitter

A manufacturer account bested crypto Twitter at its own game now, trolling the house with a misleading directions to go all-in on cryptocurrency.

Earlier this afternoon, the Digital Arts twitter account tweeted out “invest in Crypto,” seemingly unprompted. The tweet had over 10,000 favorites and 4,000 retweets and numerous Twitter buyers prompt the account had been hacked.

Recognised for sports action game titles like Madden and FIFA, the tweet was basically a advertising stunt aimed at introducing a new character in its game, Apex Legends Year 3: Meltdown! coming out this October. The new character is named ‘Crypto,’ in this situation referring to classic cryptography and not Satoshi white papers.

In an apparent discussion with by itself, the @EAAccess account asked back again “Brother, why do you do this? You will disappoint father” to which it @EA answered “He’s employed to it.”

Unfortunately, cryptocurrency fans–not “father”–ended up getting the ones let down.
